About the Arvada Chamber of Commerce

Arvada Chamber Office In 1925, Arvada was a small farming community with a population of approximately 1,000 people. At that time, business leaders decided to move from a Community Club structure to a full-fledge Chamber of Commerce. With a new charter in hand, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce began working to strengthen Arvada¹s economy.

From the first Harvest Festival in 1925 to the first traffic light in 1941, the Chamber helped the community achieve its economic potential. Through the Great Depression and World War II, members of the Chamber developed the foundation that would help Arvada prepare for the economic growth that lay ahead. Having served the community for 85 years, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce continues to play an integral role in the business community.

In our discussions with local business owners, we’re hearing concerns about the national economy and what it means to you locally. We want to reassure you that we are taking a very proactive approach to stimulate business growth and prosperity in the Arvada area. As our mission states, we strive to “represent and serve the interests of member businesses while cooperatively working to create an environment and economic climate for success in the Arvada business community.” In other words, we work for you.In addition to our leads groups, networking events, legislative lobbying, ribbon cuttings, luncheons and forums, we are always looking for new ways to offer our members value-added services and programs. In addition to promoting and supporting local businesses, the Chamber is continually building strong partnerships with the City, local nonprofits and community organizations. We understand that there's strength in numbers and that the best way to help our Chamber Members thrive is to work together.

We are proud to be a part of the Arvada community and look forward to a vibrant and prosperous 2010. Together we can buck the national trend of the economic downturn by keeping our dollars local.
